Free 3-car trial

Three of your cars shot properly, measured against three of your own.

Free. On your own enquiries. One page on day 14 shows what changed, on your own numbers.

I take a few dealers at a time, in two waves this November.

Who does what

What I do, free

  • 30–40 photos, a 60–90 second walkaround and the ad text for each of the 3 cars
  • A score out of 100 for each ad, before and after
  • A one-page report 14 days after the new ads go live, and the 30-day numbers too if 14 days is too few to tell

What you do

  • Pick 3 cars with me: cars that got 2 or more enquiries in the last fortnight, or 3 new arrivals
  • Have them clean on the day, with the service book and both keys. Your team moves the cars; I don't drive them
  • Upload the new photos, video link and text into the existing ads within 24 hours (never delete and re-list), and bump all 6 cars that day
  • Share the ad stats for the 6 cars, and keep a simple enquiry log: date, car, how they got in touch (call, message, WhatsApp), how many, and whether they mentioned the photos or video. No customer names or numbers

Why the log and the pairs? Without them, nobody can say whether the photos made the difference or it was just a good fortnight. They're what makes the report worth reading.

The timeline

  1. Week 0: baseline

6 cars picked and paired. Stats screenshotted, every ad scored. Your enquiry log starts.

  2. Shoot day

On your forecourt, at a time that suits you. Cars clean, with the book and both keys.

  3. Go-live

Files sent to you, named in shot order. You upload them into the existing ads and bump all 6 cars the same day.

  4. Day 14

One page: views and enquiries on the Z2 cars against your paired cars, and against the 14 days before.

After day 14, it's your call.

Questions dealers ask

What's the catch?

None in money. It costs you the uploads, the bumps and the log. That's what makes the numbers mean something.

Which cars should we pick?

Cars that already get a few calls: 2 or more enquiries in the last fortnight. A car nobody rings about can't show a change in 14 days. If you'd rather, we use 3 new arrivals instead, each paired with a similar car listed the same week.

Who owns the photos and video?

You can use them to sell those cars on any platform, for as long as you like. When you post them, you can give the platform the licence its terms ask for (DoneDeal's is perpetual and non-exclusive). I keep the right to show the work in my portfolio without your name, address or branding, unless you agree otherwise.

Do you edit how the cars look?

Never. No hiding marks, dents or wear, no changing colour, no fake backgrounds. I correct light and colour, straighten and crop, and take out small clutter like a bin, a cone or a passer-by.

Will you put my name or my numbers on your website?

Your name, only if you agree in writing after seeing the final wording. Your numbers, only anonymised and only if you tick yes on the agreement. What goes public is the combined result of the trials, with no dealer named.

Do you work with dealers near me?

I may, yes: I work across Limerick and Clare. Nothing about your stock, prices or results is ever shared with another dealer.

Are you insured?

No shoot happens until my public liability insurance is in place, and I'll show you the certificate if you ask. Your cars stay on your own motor and premises insurance, and your team moves them.

Can we stop part-way?

Yes. Either of us can end the trial at any time by telling the other.

Do you use AI?

To help draft the ad text and the reports. I check every piece before you get it, and the ad text only ever uses facts you've confirmed.

What if the numbers don't move?

The report will say so. If either group gets fewer than 5 enquiries, it says "too few to tell" and shows the raw numbers rather than claiming a result. You've lost nothing but the uploads, and you keep the media.
