The cost of waiting
What are phone photos costing you?
Put in your own numbers. This only counts costs you can check yourself: your team's time, and what a car costs while it waits to be listed properly.
a month of your team's time on photos. That's about 3 working days off the floor.
a month in holding cost while cars wait to be listed properly (about €8.28 a car a day).
At your average car value, €50 a car is about 6 days of holding cost.
How this is worked out
Holding cost a day = car value × (10.5% + 6.3%) ÷ 365. 10.5% is the average yearly drop in value of cars in Ireland (Cartell, December 2025). 6.3% is Bank of Ireland's motor finance APR, standing in for the cost of money tied up in stock. Your own stocking rate may differ.
Staff time = cars × minutes per car. A working day is 8 hours. These are estimates for your own figures, not a Z2 result.
We already have an agency.
Most agencies don't come out to your forecourt and shoot your used stock. I do that part, and hand the files to them or to you.
Our salesmen take photos on their phones. Why pay?
Count the time: 50 cars at 30 minutes each is about three working days a month off the floor. I take that off them, and every car gets the same full set plus a walkaround.
Is there a contract?
Not for the pilot: six cars, €300, first month. After that, per-car work has no contract. Retainers run three months, then 30 days' notice.
Who moves the cars?
Your team does, under your trade insurance. I never drive your stock.
Will you put your logo on our photos?
No. Your listings carry your name only.
Will you work for the dealer down the road?
I work with one dealer per brand in Limerick. Growth Retainer clients can ask for exclusivity on their road as well.
Can you upload to DoneDeal for us?
You get the files named in order, ready to drop into your DoneDeal ads. Uploading stays with your team, so your account stays yours.
How do we know it worked?
I screenshot each listing's views and enquiries before the shoot, then compare on day 14 and day 30. If it didn't move, the report says so.
